A Weekend in London: Six places to eat in and around Soho

Obviously, time to be spent in London means time for eating out and exploring different places to get a coffee fix. Being from Sydney I’m a massive fan of south east Asian cousine and sadly I don’t get a lot of it in Edinburgh. Now that I’m in London more regularly that is changing and there was no better place to start my food adventures in London than in and around Soho!

Edinburgh's Hogmanay: Torch Light Procession, Fireworks and a little bit of Magic!

Happy New Year! Or as I am learning in Scotland, ‘Happy Hogmanay! Lang May Yer Lum Reek!’

Hogmanay has just passed us and I am happy to say that this year I was not jet lagged in any way shape or form and have thus been able to partake it at least some of the celebrations! The tradition and event that has always drawn me to spending Hogmanay in Scotland is the Torch Light Procession which occurs on the evening of the 30th December the night before what is traditionally New Year’s Eve.

Now I don't have a particular story to tell you about any funny conversation or event that took place on this little adventure, although I am sure there were many.
